LATIN SOUNDS
LATIN SOUNDS (Sonidas Latinos) is a Latin and world music band based in North Carolina that performs a variety of international musical styles. It focuses on Spain and South America's traditional music, including flamenco and music rooted in the Andes Mountains of South America.

Hugo Quintero performs different instruments: bongo, flute, dulce flauta, cuchara, palmas, and maracas. In addition to his musical talents, Hugo has a master’s degree from the University of Bogota in teaching music to children.
Michael Curren, drums: Mike comes from a musical family -- his mother was a vocalist. He became interested in percussion at the early age of four. A member of his high school marching band, Mike later received formal music training. Mike credits music for teaching him the value of discipline. He says that music makes him feel complete.
